Bao Squish Privacy Policy

Bao Squish is developed by Hakan Özmen and published under TadaApp. This policy describes version 1.1.0 for iPhone, iPad and Android. The iOS bundle identifier and Android package name are com.tadaapp.baosquish. It covers the upcoming Android release as well as the iOS release; public availability is shown by the relevant app store. Visiting the TadaApp website or sending a support form involves separate website and email services, as explained below and in the website privacy policy.

Core play works offline. The app stores play data on your device and does not automatically upload it to TadaApp. This release has no accounts, advertising, advertising identifiers, in-app purchases or subscriptions. App analytics, Unity engine insights and cloud crash reporting are disabled. We do not sell your play data.

Local records include settings, friend names and appearances, saved creations, game scores and history, discoveries, timer state, reminder preferences and supported game continuation data. Records retained from earlier versions may also include saved dance routines. On iOS and iPadOS, the app also keeps the local review-request history described below. Avoid entering sensitive personal information in friend names or Memory titles.

When you choose Save photo in Memories, Bao captures a picture of the app scene. It is not a camera photo or an import from your photo library. The image is saved in private app storage with an optional title, the selected friend's name and the capture date and time. Bao does not upload these pictures or publish them to other players. To remove a moment, open Menu → Memories → My moments, tap Remove beside the picture and confirm. This removes the album entry and requests deletion of its local picture file. Copies in operating-system backups are managed separately.

On iOS and iPadOS only, Bao can request notification permission when you enable a background timer alert or daily reminder. If you allow it, the app schedules notifications through your device's notification system and stores the time and preferences locally. These alerts do not use a Bao server or remote push messaging service. A timer alert can contain the selected friend's display name, which may appear on your lock screen depending on your device settings. Permission is optional; the foreground timer and other activities still work if you decline. The Android release supports a foreground countdown but does not schedule background timer alerts or daily notifications and does not request notification permission for these features.

On iOS and iPadOS, turn daily reminders off in Menu → Settings → Reminders. Turn timer alerts off in Time Together → Timer options → Background alert. You can also change or revoke permission in your device's Settings → Notifications → Bao Squish. Delivery and visibility depend on your operating-system, notification and Focus settings.

This release does not request access to your camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, location or health data. It does not listen to or record speech. Dance uses included music and authored movement sequences. Help, privacy and website links open their destinations only when you choose them. The voluntary App Store review link is available only on iOS and iPadOS. Browser and app-distribution services follow their own privacy practices; core play does not depend on opening them.

The in-app rating feature is available only on iOS and iPadOS. To avoid repeatedly asking for a review, the app stores a small amount of usage information locally: active-use time, a limited set of usage dates, review-request or voluntary store-visit times, and an eligibility state. This record is not sent to a TadaApp server or used as analytics. Apple controls whether its system review request appears and handles any rating or review you choose to submit. Bao does not receive your review text or rating through this feature and does not assume that a request or store visit resulted in a review. The Android release does not provide an in-app review request or rating button.

Bao Squish is built with Unity. This release does not enable Unity advertising, analytics, purchases, engine insights or cloud diagnostics. Apple or Google may separately process their stores' downloads, ratings, reviews and diagnostics under their own policies and your device settings. That platform activity is separate from Bao's local play records.

There is no Bao account or Bao-operated cloud synchronization. Your device or operating system may include local app data in backups, depending on your settings. Those backups are managed by the platform provider. TadaApp does not hold a server copy of your friends, progress or Memories and cannot restore them from a server.

Local records remain in app storage until removed. You can remove individual Memories as described above. Deleting the app and its local data can remove saved friends, progress, settings and Memories; offloading the app may retain its data. Operating-system backup copies may remain and must be managed separately through your device or backup settings. Avoid deleting the app while troubleshooting a save issue.

Bao is intended for a broad audience. The current app does not ask players to create accounts or send personal information. Young players should ask a parent or guardian to contact support for them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

Visiting this website involves hosting services that may process technical request information for delivery, security and operation. When you submit the support form, we receive the name, email address, selected product, subject and message you provide. The website also processes technical request information to limit repeated submissions. Support messages are delivered through Resend and handled as described in the TadaApp website privacy policy. This is separate from offline app play.

We use voluntary correspondence to respond, investigate an issue and handle related follow-up. Please share only information needed to explain your request. For questions about, access to, correction or deletion of information you have sent us, contact Hakan Özmen through the Bao Squish support form. We may need to verify that a request relates to your correspondence. Local play records must be managed on your device because we do not hold a server copy.

This policy describes the current release. We will update this page and its effective date when these practices change. New online features or third-party services would require a fresh review before release.
